The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance exam city intimation slip for NEET UG 2026. Candidates who have registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test can now check the city allotted for their examination. The city intimation slip has been made available online to help applicants plan their travel arrangements before the admit card is released.
The exam city intimation is an important pre-admit card update that informs candidates about the location of their examination city. However, it does not contain the exact exam centre address. The detailed centre information will be mentioned in the NEET UG 2026 admit card, which will be released separately.
NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026 (Sunday). The examination will be held in a single shift from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. As per the official notice, the exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode across multiple centres.
The medical entrance exam will take place in 552 cities across India and 14 cities abroad. Candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 are advised to check their allotted exam city at the earliest and make necessary travel arrangements accordingly.
The National Testing Agency has clarified that the exam city intimation slip is not the NEET UG 2026 admit card. This slip only provides advance information about the exam city. The admit card, which will include the exam centre address, reporting time, and important instructions, will be issued separately.
Candidates must download the admit card once released and carry it to the examination centre along with a valid photo ID. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without the admit card.
