The National Medical Commission (NMC) has formally released the syllabus for the NEET UG 2026 medical entrance examination, offering much-needed clarity to lakhs of aspirants across India.
The revised NEET 2026 syllabus was made available on December 23, 2025, through the NMC’s official website, where students can access and download it.
The syllabus clearly details the topics for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology that will be covered in the NEET UG 2026 question paper. It continues to be based on the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum. This reaffirms that NCERT textbooks and standard coaching resources remain fully aligned with the exam requirements.
Along with the NEET 2026 syllabus, the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) under the NMC issued an official public notice. The board stated that releasing the syllabus early is aimed at helping students plan their preparation in a timely and focused manner for the upcoming exam.

With the syllabus confirmed well in advance, medical aspirants can now prepare with greater confidence and clarity. The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting NEET, is expected to announce the examination date and application timeline soon on its official website. Candidates are advised to stay up to date with official notifications to avoid missing important deadlines and preparation milestones.
