NTA Releases Provisional Answer Keys of NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Provisional Answer Keys for NEET UG 2026 re-exam, held on June 21 in pen and paper mode across India and abroad. The provisional answer key has been released to maintain transparency, so the results are declared at the earliest.

Additionally, the National Testing Agency has also opened the Challenge Window, but OMR sheet scanning is still in progress. This is done so that the students can review the provisional answer keys as soon as possible and can challenge any question if they feel it is required.

The provisional answer keys can be challenged online as per the following details:

Candidates Must Note These Points

  • Candidates are required to submit the challenge only through the online mode within the stipulated time period, along with the fee. Challenges submitted through other modes, such as email, fax, letter, etc., will not be entertained.
  • Candidates can raise a challenge against a question only under his/her own Question Paper Series Code (the Series Code printed on the cover of the Test Booklet taken home from the examination centre on 21.06.2026). If a challenge is accepted by the experts, the final correction will be applied uniformly to all candidates across all four sets. Therefore, there is no need to raise the same challenge separately under multiple Series Codes.
  • The Answer Key finalised after the challenge will be final. No challenges will be entertained once the Challenge Window closes or once the results are declared.
  • The processing fee of Rs. 200/- per question challenged will be fully refunded for every challenge that is accepted by the experts.
  • The individual scanned OMR response sheets are not part of this stage, as OMR scanning is in progress. Candidates can separately view their individual scanned OMR response sheets once scanning is complete.

The candidates can view the Provisional Answer Keys on the official NEET website - https://neet.nta.nic.in/ and challenge them, if they feel it is required.
