The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the Round 1 registration for NEET Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2026 counselling. Candidates who have qualified for the exam can now submit their applications online for admission to super speciality medical courses across India.
The counselling is conducted through the official MCC portal and is a key step in the allocation of seats for advanced medical programmes in the country.
The registration process for NEET SS 2026 counselling began on March 10, 2026. Eligible candidates must complete the application through the official MCC website.
The last date to register is March 15, 2026, till 12 noon, while the payment facility will remain open until 3 pm on the same day.
Candidates who successfully qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
After completing the registration, candidates need to select their preferred institutes and courses during the choice filling process, which will be held from March 11 to March 16, 2026.
The choice locking window will be open on March 16 from 4 pm to 11:55 pm. The Round 1 seat allotment process will take place on March 17, and the results will be declared on March 18, 2026.
Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective institutes between March 19 and March 25, 2026 to complete the admission process.
The counselling process is held for admission to super speciality medical programmes, such as Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).
These courses enable qualified doctors to receive advanced training and specialise in specific areas of medicine and surgery.
As per the official schedule, the academic session for NEET SS 2026 programmes will commence on April 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to keep track of the counselling timeline and regularly visit the MCC website for the latest updates and announcements.
