The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the number of available seats for NEET SS Round 1. This change happened because several hospitals and colleges reported updates to their seat counts for this year. If you are participating in this round, you should check the revised list before finalizing your choices.
According to the official notice, MCC has formally received information from the participating colleges about the addition as well as withdrawal of the seats for the 1st round of counselling. Any seats that have been withdrawn will be taken off the list of the Round 1 seat matrix before the final results are processed. This ensures that no one is accidentally assigned to a seat that is no longer available.
Moreover, the Medical Counselling Committee has also confirmed that the newly updated seats have already been added to the updated list of the Round 1 seat matrix. This will allow candidates to check the revised seats, and they can choose the seats again during the counselling process.
Candidates are advised to carefully check the updated matrix before making their final choices.
