The wait is over! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class 12th board exam, 2024. 87.98% of the students have passed the exam, which is 0.65% higher than the 2023 results.
1.16 lakh students have secured 90% or above marks and around 24 thousand students have got a score of 95% and above. Like the last year, the girls have outshined the boys again. 91.52% of girls, while only 85.12% of boys have passed the board exam.
This year, the CBSE has done away with announcing the toppers or releasing a list of top scorers. It has however published details like topper district, and pass percentage. The results are categorized by gender, school, region, etc. this year.
To check their results, students can log in with their details at https://cbseresults.nic.in/ and https://www.cbse.gov.in/. The results can also be viewed on the UMANG app. It is important to note that the online marksheet is just a provisional marksheet and students shall collect their original marksheet from their schools.
A total of 16,21,224 students appeared for the board exams held between February 15 and April 2 earlier this year. 14,26,420 students have passed the class 12th board exam this year. With the dust settling after this year’s results, students will now proceed towards admission to universities, or wait for the results of entrance exams.
