The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10th and 12th board exam results for 2025. Students who appeared for these exams can now check their results on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, using their roll numbers, school numbers, and admit card IDs.
The Class 10th board exams were held from February 15 to March 1, 2025, while the Class 12th exams took place from February 15 to April 4, 2025. Both exams were conducted in single shifts, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, across various exam centres in India.
To check their results, students can follow these simple steps:
CBSE has also made significant changes to its post-result procedures this year. Unlike the previous system, where students first had to apply for verification of marks before requesting photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets, the process has now been reversed.
Students can now obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer books as the first step, before deciding whether to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation. This allows students to make more informed decisions about their results.
In a statement, CBSE explained:
“A candidate, after obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book in the first step, can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks, which includes checking for posting/totalling errors or any unevaluated questions, or Re-evaluation, where the candidate can request a detailed review of specific questions.”
This change is aimed at improving transparency and ensuring that students have better control over the evaluation process.
