The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a clarification regarding the APAAR ID for NEET-UG 2025 registration. Following their earlier public notification dated 14th January 2025, where candidates were encouraged to update their Aadhar credentials and create an APAAR ID, the NTA has confirmed that an APAAR ID is not a mandatory requirement for the registration process. 

Candidates wishing to apply for NEET-UG 2025 can continue to complete the registration form using alternative methods. These methods will be clearly outlined in the NEET-UG 2025 Information Bulletin, which has to be released soon. In addition, the NTA has provided a comprehensive step-by-step guide to assist students who wish to create an APAAR ID, available at https://apaar.education.gov.in.
